WORKSHOPS

I have been giving workshops at events, schools and for companies since 2014. I consider workshops as well as mentorships as some of the most rewarding experiences of my career.

I especially enjoy more interactive workshops where I not only get to share my knowledge and experience but also get to connect with my students and more often than not, also learn from them in return.

CRAFT

My most common workshop topics are craft related. Since I’ve had a very multi-faceted career in the entertainment I am able to talk about a large range of topics. I not only studied film and photography in college, I also worked as an Assistant Director in the film industry, learning a lot about the business aspect and production challenges of working in the entertainment industry. After changing my career to becoming a full-time production artist, I’ve gained experiences as a matte painter, a concept artist and a 3D environment artist/generalist.
This means that I have been able to hold workshops that cover topics such as pipeline processes, efficient texture techniques, lighting, composition, cinematography and many more.

MANAGEMENT

Besides my more craft specific workshops, I will also sometimes give workshops on management and personal improvement related topics such as time management, how to streamline your process etc. for example. These workshops generally consist of a keynote presentation and interactive participation with the audience, that is designed to help the audience relate and apply the prinicples to their own lifes.
